Report for the Month of August
President Carlton July
As our first month as an organization, we were able to network with a lot of organizations,
including Omega Phi Gamma at BHS, Sigma Phi Nu, etc. Everything seemed to come together in the blink of an eye, and most of our month was spent planning our upcoming
events. September will probably simply be our month tog et uor name out there in the community,
through our participation in the community service for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Upward Bound community service,
and our raising money for the financing of Ray Ray's heart transplant. The step team will
be in full effect as well as we have two big parties coming up, including the Aftermath party and the Kappa League party on
the 24th, plus Sigma Phi Nu may be rescheduling their party for this month which was originally planned for September 3rd
but canceled because of the Hurricane. We hope to make an impact on both of those parties,
as we already have well over 75 party hops at our disposal. Hopefully we will be able to get our name's out enough over the course of September and
mid October so that in late October we can throw our Pajama Party which is guaranteed to be the PARTY OF THE YEAR if we pull
it off correctly. Basically I will sum up August as a month of preparation and planning,
and now it's time to execute on all the plans. Once again I'd like to take the time to thank
those whose supported me through this and hopefully I will be able to pull it off. Next month's
report will come from 1st Vice President Carlos Jones..Peace, and One Love to You All! Listed below are the officers for our
esteemed organization as is also listed on the member's page
September
2nd Executive V.P. Carlos
Jones
We'd like to start
off by thanking Antowynette James of the Mobile Zeta Archonettes and Jennifer Riley of Sigma Phi Nu for aiding us in our Hurricane
Katrina Relief Car Wash and helping to make it the huge success it turned out to be. We raised
nearly $200 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and will be donating it to the appropriate relief fund of our choice.
We've been making our presence known in the community a lot, going places in packs and repping to the
fullest. We've had members aid in preparing shelters for the victims of Hurricane Katrina,
as well as participate in can drives as well. We will continue to make our presence known
as well, we have a full plate of community service to participate in for the month of October as well as parties to WRECK,
so look out, because ya boys are gettin' out there in the community BIG TIME. On a more serious
note, we would like to clear things up, our organization is not here to "beef" with any other organizations, now because we
have too much taste I'm not going to name names but there are particular organizations who seem to object to our being in
existence, or who seem to think it's okay to invade our personal lives and hurt our loved ones because of their dislike for
us, and that is not what we are about at all. As sophisticated young men, we will not be
brought down by other's immaturity or allow us to sink to their levels, we will continue to display your ignorance on our
message board and let your actions behind our backs show people what y'all are really about. Remember
that you are not hurting us, but helping us by getting our names out there. I do urge these
people to stop because when you start to hurt our loved ones, etc, talk about them, etc because of personal beef you may have
with the org then you are taking things to an entirely different level, a level which this entire situation in general should
not be escalated to. We hopefully can resolve these issues with these respective organizations,
because at the end of the day, "beef" doesn't make a difference in the lives of the needy or improve our community at all,
in fact it is the reason some of our community's are in the shape they are in. But other
than that, we are just staying busy in the community and keeping our eyes "focused" on the "prize" and will carry the "sword
against injustice" into the month of October.

Greetings Greek friends, once again it
is ya boy K-9 ready to update you on what's been going on with Dem Nasty Rho Doggz! First I'd like to
point out that if you examine our guestbook, you will see that the haters are out in full effect and that I've had to set
quite a few people straight. To be completely honest, I had every intention of approaching
this month's officer report trashing a certain organization altogether(they know who they are), but with the recent passing
of Rosa Parks, I've realized that it would be pointless, because when you think of all she stood for and the hardships she
faced, all this hating and petty "beef" seems so meaningless. So I have changed my attitude,
I respect the organization's right to hate on us as much as they wish, but they will not cause me to lower myselfs down to
their standards, the chances of Jr. Greek unity seem to get more and more dim everyday, but I still hold out hope, guess I'll
update you more on that situation on the next report. Now that that issue has been addressed,
I'd like to let you know that much time has been spent on making out a completed calendar for the rest of the year, and that
November is the month when community service will officially start. You heard it here first,
be on the look out for us in the community because our "propechy" of making a major impact in the Mobile community will become
true as of NOW! Also, we have been focusing o our Fall 2K5 line, and our Winter 2K5 line,
as we will probably have to have two lines back to back because of the fact that membership in Nu Omega Rho has been in high
demand as of late. It is looking as if our party will be in Mid-late November or very early
December, so be out on the look out for us and our new line, I promise you it will be a "MONSTER." This
will truly be a line like no other, but that's all I can say at this point without giving away too many secrets, but be on
the look out. Da bruh's will be traveling to Alabama State University for their High School
Day as well as to Hattiesburg, MS for the Delteen party down there, so we got two big trips coming up! Also, a special CONGRATULATIONS to brothers Carlton July(me) and C.J. Foster for making Beautillion!!
Well I guess that's all for this month, just know that we will be staying on our grind, advertising
like crazy, and doing what we do best, which is SERVICE! Thanks for your continued support
of Nu Omega Rho and as always if you need us, do not be afraid to contact us. Lastly, shout
out to all the other Jr. Greek Service Clubs worldwide who are doing big things! WoOF!
Oh yeah, our sisters will be on and poppin' very soon so please be on the look out for them..they
are getting ready to take the Jr. Greek scene by STORM!
